The features of CLFN Membership

FLAME Communities

Forming Leaders as Missionary Evangelisers

Reignite and fan the flame of faith by connecting with a small group of other leaders to grow in faith and effectiveness. FLAME Communities become faith communities as members in similar ministries meet regularly for prayer, formation and to encourage and share with one another. Communities can be local, diocesan or national.

Members of these Communities engage with the FLAME Series (Porta Fidei, Called, Essentials) and other CLFN programs (Voices and Vision). FLAME Communities and CLFN Programs are offered in various modes, locations and times of the year. Communities may be formed for a specific period or be ongoing. These are led by certified CLFN leaders.

Weekly Prayer

Formed in Prayer provides weekly Sunday Gospel-inspired prayer and reflection for staff prayer. There is the opportunity to pray together, learn and adapt traditional forms of prayer such as Lectio Divina and The Ignatian Examen.

Supportive Online Network

The CLFN online platform provides tools to learn from and collaborate with other members in similar roles, ministries and regions. Seek advice, look for and share resources as well as discuss emerging issues in pastoral practice. Explore and enjoy all our network features on our exclusive app. Formation webinars are on offer throughout the year.

SPIRITUS

The ACU Spiritus program is a unique faith formation program for education and other Church ministry leaders, equipping them for evangelisation in our contemporary context. Spiritus can be completed as professional learning and as units of study in ACU courses.

Leading Staff and Student Formation

The CLFN provides opportunities for leadership aimed at mentoring and supporting other leaders in Catholic schools, parishes, organisations and movements. The platform provides professional learning and formation for mission resources that you can use and adapt in running CLFN and CSYMA programs for your staff and students.

Certification as a CSYMA and CLFN Leader

Seek, gain and maintain certification as a CSYMA Educator and or CLFN Leader. Be recognised as a leader committed to your own professional learning and formation for mission. Be recognised as a leader committed to supporting other leaders and aspiring leaders in the Church.

CLFN - A Community for Mission

According to John the Evangelist, Jesus first calls the disciples 'friends' after washing their feet at the Last Supper. Sharing the Good News with others, the good news of how my life has been enriched and fulfilled in relationship with Christ and his Church can be challenging work. It can also be filled with profound joy and deep satisfaction. CLFN is the place to find the friendship, the fellowship, of other disciples, other good women and men committed to a ministry of leadership and service in the Church.

Keep up with CLFN on the go

It's worth noting that Jesus sent disciples out two by two. Too often we think of ministry as something 'I' am called to with my unique gifts rather than as something I am called to with others, uniquely gifted together for the seemingly impossible task before us. This online community will be grounded in real life but also real online encounters and relationships. All we do, humbly but generously, is to commit to join together, support each other, share with each other and learn together.
